This event has been CANCELLED.  It will be rescheduled for fall 2009.

Signing a Living WillSaturday
May 2, 2009
9:00 AM – Registration
9:30 AM – NOON – Program

Cardinal Keeler Center, 4800 Union Deposit Road, Harrisburg, PA 17111

Life is the gift of a loving God. We must never choose to directly cause or hasten death; the unwarranted destruction of human life is never morally permissible. Each of us has the right to make decisions about our health care and to designate someone to make decisions on our behalf. Find out what the Catholic Church teaches about end of life care and how a Living Will and a Health Care Power of Attorney can help ensure the decisions about the care you receive when you cannot speak for yourself are made in accord with your religious beliefs.

Registration is $15 and can be done on-line at www.hbgdiocese.org or via downloaded form. Call Susan Huntsberger at (717) 657-4804 x201 for more information

Co-sponsored by the Diocese of Harrisburg and the Pennsylvania Catholic Conference Institute for Public Policy
