voter registration deadlinesSure, the Pennsylvania Primary Election isn’t until the end of April, but the deadline to register to vote is just a week away.

Pennsylvanians can register to vote, change their address, and update their party membership by registering to vote online at this link.

Pennsylvanians must be registered to vote by Monday, March 28, to be eligible to vote in the April 26 Primary Election.

Pennsylvania hosts what is called a “closed primary,” meaning that you must be registered as a member of a political party to vote for that party’s candidates.  If you want to vote for a Democrat, you must be registered as a Democrat. If you want to vote for a Republican, you must be registered as a Republican. If you are registered as an Independent, you won’t be able to vote for candidates from either of the parties on Primary Election Day.

Our government is shaped by those who participate in the political process, so be sure to register and vote this year!
