On Tuesday, March 1, 2011, the Senate Education Committee is scheduled to vote on Senate Bill 1 – the Opportunity Scholarship and Educational Improvement Tax Credit Act. This is the first important step of the legislative process that the proposal will have to follow before school choice becomes law.
ALL ARE INVITED! The committee vote is big news; we need a strong and loud show of support from the nonpublic school community. This public meeting is open to everyone. If you or your group can get to the State Capitol in Harrisburg, we can crowd the room with supporters. Visit PCC’s Capitol Trip Planner site for directions and details on parking.
