The public is invited to join Bishop David Zubik in praying for immigration reform Sunday, Nov. 24, at 3 p.m. at St. Paul Cathedral in Pittsburgh’s Oakland neighborhood.
“Bishop Zubik will preside at a holy hour to include a rosary for the intention of comprehensive immigration reform,” said Helene Paharik, associate general secretary of the Diocese of Pittsburgh. “The prayer will conclude with Benediction. Representatives from various immigrant communities will lead a decade of the rosary.
“Our rosary for comprehensive immigration reform is an opportunity for our diocesan community to come together and pray to God for the courage and the compassion to reform our immigration system that secures the safety of our nation, but also welcomes and respects the strangers among us.”
