PA House Health Committee Passes 3 Pro-Life Bills

The PA House Health Committee passed three pro-life bills Tuesday morning in votes that went strictly along party lines. All Republicans on the committee voted yes and all Democrats voted no. The PA Catholic Conference supports these measures.

Here are the postings we made this morning as the sponsors spoke on their bills.

Rep. Kate Klunk is giving comments on her HB 1500–the Down Syndrome Protection Act. It would protect an unborn child from being aborted solely on the basis of a diagnosis of Down syndrome.
