The cities of Harrisburg, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh provided the backdrop for students, teachers, parents and school choice supporters to celebrate National School Choice Week from January 21-27.
Hundreds of Catholic school students attended the rallies, which were held in conjunction with 32,000 events across the country highlighting National School Choice Week.
On Friday, January 26, Bishop Edward C. Malesic of the Diocese of Greensburg delivered the invocation to kick-off the rally in Pittsburgh, and was joined by Bishop William J. Waltersheid, auxiliary bishop of Pittsburgh, who delivered the welcome and the closing benediction.
The Pennsylvania Catholic Conference is a proud partner of the Pennsylvania School Choice Coalition, which strives to ensure parental choice in education.
