House Bill 45, the Right to Try Act, provides for the use of investigational drugs, and biological products and devices by terminally ill patients. The measure could provide hope for people who have few, if any, traditional treatment options left. HB 45 passed both chambers and was signed by Governor Wolf in October 2017.
