A Faithful Tradition

The Pennsylvania Catholic Health Association, founded in 1963, is a statewide organization whose membership comprises 24 Catholic hospitals, 35 nursing long-term care facilities, numerous multi-facility health systems, sponsoring religious congregations, and dioceses.

The Pennsylvania Catholic Health Association is an associate of the Pennsylvania Catholic Conference, the public affairs agency of Pennsylvania's Catholic bishops.

"Because it is motivated by the Gospel, explicitly committed to the ethical values of Jesus, and integrated with the mission of the Church, Catholic health care is different from the care offered by other providers."
