Merry Christmas from the PCC

When the prophets spoke of Him they said that in those days:

The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light. Upon those who dwelt in the land of gloom, a light has shone…For a child is born to us, a Son is given to us…His dominion is vast, and forever peaceful…

When the angels announced His birth, they proclaimed:

Peace on earth among men of good will…

And as a man, He taught His followers:

Blessed are the peacemakers…

In this day when there is such fear and uncertainty in the world, at all levels of our society, our wish for you in this holiday season is that His message of peace will take root in the hearts of everyone.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from the Pennsylvania Catholic Conference!
