For the first time since 1995, more than half of Americans answered “pro-life” to that question; 42% answered “pro-choice.” According to a May 2009 Gallup poll, this is the first time a majority of U.S. adults have identified themselves as pro-life since Gallup began asking this question.

HB 26 Introduced – Poses Constitutional concerns for Catholic schools

HB 26 proposes granting oversight of employee relations in Catholic schools to the Pennsylvania Labor Relations Board. In effect, the bill would force Catholic schools to accept teachers unions, even those who may endorse ideas that go against Church teaching like abortion or gay marriage, and bargain with their representatives.
